A Victim-centred Approach to Justice in Scotland

Client: Victim Support Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government’s Victims’ Taskforce

This project exemplifies our innovative use of design thinking to enhance the journey of victim-survivors through the criminal justice system. By engaging over 140 participants, including individuals with lived experiences and multi-agency stakeholders, we collaboratively identified solutions to improve systemic processes. The final report’s recommendations, endorsed by the Victims’ Taskforce in November 2024, provide a roadmap for transformative change in the justice system. The report can be accessed here.
